Protecting hardware attached to wood.

My garage has been the subject of repeated break in attempts through a

lobby access door. Ive installed an alarm, video cameras etc etc have

caught one individual but someone else is still at it. This individual has

been cutting into the house beams to get to the screws that are holding the

door frame to the house. l installed a steel door frame bolting it to the

building frame with carriage bolts.Someone used something (Saws all?) to 
splitthe wood up to the bolts rendering them useless and allowing the 
steelframe to be pushed aside.How can this be prevented? Or can it?

Install long hard screws wherever they are cutting. Drywall

screws are much harder than normal lag bolts. I just broke my sawzall

cutting a composite deck screw, which has similar hardness. Install a

whole bunch of them. They break your door, return the love and break the
